Columbus Ohio Temple--Temple #5

There is not much to report on today.  It is hot, hot, hot.  The temperature in Columbus this afternoon was 101 degrees with 63% humidity.  Yikes.  Fortunately, we had a 2 hour drive from Cleveland and the car A/C works great.  We took a much needed opportunity to sleep in this morning and relax in the motel room.  We left about noon and headed to Columbus.  It felt great to be so rested!

The Columbus Ohio temple is another really, small temple.  Here are a couple of pictures that Eileen took.  She is an excellent photographer!

Columbus is a nice town.  Everyone at the temple was delightful.

Back at the motel, it is like an antique car show in the parking lot.  Apparently, there is a car show in Columbus right now.  There are some pretty nice cars out there.  We went to the Chinese restaurant next to the motel for dinner but their A/C isn't working.  So, we took it to go and are going to just hang out for the evening.  Luckily, the grocery store next door had ice cream!

    1. My favorite temple so far has been Palmyra. But I've been looking forward to visiting the Nauvoo temple since it was dedicated 10 years ago. I'm glad you're enjoying the blog. We're having a great time.
